Lose Pounds the Smart Way

When you want to lose pounds remember that time and consistency are the biggest secrets to get to your goal. Losing weight suddenly won't do you any favours in the medium or long term as it is really likely that you will just pile the pounds back on, and perhaps even more than before - major bummer!

We don't recommend that you lose more than one pound per week no matter what your weight is. Any more and you are risking permanently damaging your metabolic rate and we all know how we have to pay for that! For those that don't this means that your body's ability to burn is impaired and so does it more slowly and less effectively. Basically, this means you have to work extra hard to clear excess fat which is obviously rubbish. So let's lose pounds...

LOSE POUNDS THE SMART WAY - SUPER TIPS

- Keep hydrated all day especially when exercising. Your body will be confused enough by the change in diet so help it by giving it lots of water and herbal tea - camomile and green tea are great for when you want to lose pounds.

- Do before and after pictures of yourself in the same clothes or in a bikini if you are brave so you can track your progress weekly and be inspired by the changes.

- Keep track of your Body Fat Percentage so you can see how this is lowering rather than totally focusing on the weight loss.

- Eat lots and lots of just cooked vegetables with low fat sauces. Brocolli is packed full of vitamin C and other antioxidants that can help you with your weight loss.

- Don't be overdramatic and cut out ALL fats or carbohydrates. In order to lose pounds safely you need to maintain a balance!

- Ban anything deep fried, processed, fizzy, caffeine based from your beautiful body. These things are your enemies if you want to lose pounds.

- Don't eat "Diet" products. They are all a step in the wrong direction. You are kicking yourself if you think that 'diet' soda or microwave meals are actually good for you. People that want to lose pounds fast are often easy targets for these products - don't get fooled. Join a group of like minded people or get hooked up to a diet buddy and you too can lose pounds in a way to make you love your body more than ever before. Best of luck! i am naturrally skinny but i eat so much greasy foods. i have bad skin and i will definetly take this advice.

Remeber with diet comes excersize.
It's a hand in hand thing, you can't just expect to diet and not lift a finger. ALSO I was told that you can have a 'day off' NOT TRUE having a day off from dieting just gets you back into old habits.

hey this site is a really goodidea i was scouted and selected for select models and i needed a way to keep the pounds of so every month for three days i do a cleansing diet which removes all the toxins from your body. All i drink is water green tea and lots of vegetable and fruit juices. it works a treat it helps skin and you feel fresher once its over. OI dont recomend using it for a long time thou.

it is better to lose just small amounts every week and not a tonne to just put it back on. My friend is always doing that and I dont understnad why!!

Thanks for the advice i've been trying to lose weight because I want to model. I was told I have a great figure and beautiful face all I need is to lose weight, and this site is going to make it so much easier! Thanks a budle!

I've already cut out soda and stopped snacking so much, but I've also become a vegetarian. I haven't seen much of a difference and i WANT a flat stomach. =( Im not sure what to do anymore.

I have been eating a lot of 'diet' products and havent been losing weight at all. They are also a rip off too. Thanks for you advice.
